Project Description

As part of the comprehensive earthquake related redevelopment scheme the new CBHS assembly hall needed to respond to both contemporary school use requirements and the sites’ heritage values. Council were understandably concerned that the design ‘worked’ in terms of their statutory responsibilities, notably the protection of the primary heritage building, to which the assembly hall was attached. RMS assisted the project team in navigating through an extensive approval process, to obtain approvals within the critical project timeline.
