Project Description

Located within a disused quarry, this school came with unusual consenting requirements, including the need for flood evacuation plans and careful consideration of the adjoining development context. RMS worked with the project team to ensure that the designation requirements and other statutory consenting requirements were understood. RMS also liaised closely with Auckland Council in order to help them understand the design rationale behind the proposal and to ensure a smooth consenting process. RMS have worked on several stages of the school’s development, as it continues to grow as a central component of the Stonefields community.
