Project Description

The redevelopment of the Western Springs College Campus in Auckland is one of the largest educational redevelopments in New Zealand’s history. It is also one of the most complex, being a large secondary school located on a historic landfill. RMS worked closely within the design team to outline development parameters, ensure all relevant statutory issues were considered and all approvals obtained. This included multiple Outline Plans of Works, regional consents and NES contamination approvals. The strict time frames dictated a staged consent process, necessary to ensure the school continues to function during the long term construction process. This redevelopment continues today.
